Internal Transfer Changes

With this update we have made some internal code adjustments to help our Customer Support Team facilitate the transfer of students from one course to another.  Where this will be the most impactful for our users will be the Transaction History tab and the Course’s Students tab.

On the Transaction History tab, now when students are transferred from one course to another of the same provider level, the Type distinction of the transaction will list as Transfer and indicate the amount of $0.00.

As for the Course’s Students tab, when students are transferred to a new course, they will be automatically dropped from their previous course.  The reason will be displayed as “Student was moved to another course” and under Actions it will read as contact support. School and Course Administrators will not be able to un-drop the transferred student. It is very important that reports are run for the student prior to the transfer being completed if there is already data tied to their account.
